As a certified teacher with 20 plus years' experience, I am a Post Falls reading tutor, passionate and dedicated to providing Evidence Based Reading Instruction, using systematic, explicit phonics. In my practice, I offer specialized intensive support for both dyslexia and literacy improvement, serving homeschoolers and public-school students with personalized, affordable sessions. I would be honored to partner with you to give your child the gift of reading confidence.
Sessions take place in a safe and encouraging environment in my home office. This allows me to keep pricing lower than local centers and gives students one-on-one uninterrupted attention. Online sessions are an option under certain circumstances. During my career, I have helped children develop a joy for reading in public schools, private schools and I have also homeschooled my own daughter. Parents are always welcome to sit in on lessons so that we can partner together with the same goal of offering your child reading success.

The base fee is $35 per hour session. 30 min and 45 min sessions are available depending on student need. We will find what works best for your family.

While methodology matters, success depends on offering your child a solid support system and a dependable coach who will be there believing in his or her success and understanding his or her struggles. It is absolutely possible to overcome dyslexia.
